Fiberglass laminate reinforced with Kevlar strip and spring steel, air channel foam core. Asymmetric sidewall construction puts hard phenolic sidewall over one edge and a softer Granix sidewall over the other. This lessens the chance of catching an edge, permits swapping of skis to put the hard edge on the inside for hard snow and soft edge inside for powder/soft snow, sintered base.
